Our Newest Group!
El Ritmocito Winterguard
If you are in grades 5 - 8 and need something to do, come join the fun of Winterguard!
Introductory Meeting on Wednesday, November 12th in the Hanford West Career Center.
Rehearsal are scheduled to start after Thanksgiving. If you do not make the meeting, come to our first rehearsal and check it out anyway.
Our main objective for starting this group is to train our middle students in the Hanford area so that they are ready to march color guard with Hanford High, Hanford West or Sierra Pacific. But we are open to all students in the Kings, Tulare, Fresno, and Madera areas and beyond.
Currently, young students in our area do not have a program to start their training. So you can get that training with El Ritmocito!

We are continuing as an Independent A Guard for the 2025 Marching Season.
Our schedule will be expanding to include:
3 SVWAA shows, 2 - 3 WGI Shows, SVWAA Championships.
Our Winter Percussion will compete in Independent A.
Age Limitation
Color guards and percussion units in the Independent A Classes from the United States are composed of performers not over 22 years of age as of 12:01 a.m. on April 1st of any given year.
(If we get an overwhelming majority of students that will be 23 years old as of April 1st, 2024, we will have to compete in the Open Division).
